Pictures for DVD is a totally free utility for Windows that lets you prepare all the photos you want to record on a CD or DVD in one stroke. You only have to put all your images into the program from a file and let it automatically generate a copy, titled "for-dvd," and it is then ready to record onto your DVD.

For example, if you have a lot of images spread out in sub-folders, this program will bring them all together in only one directory. Or, if you have some photos in files with long names, they will be automatically renamed in 8.3 format, accepted by photo CDs and DVDs. If the photos are exaggeratedly large, Photos for DVD will redimension them to a smaller size.
